Established in 2006, Global eSolutions (HK) Limited (“GES”) (a member of Novacon Technology Group Limited HKEX: 8635) is a well-established IT service provider in Hong Kong. GES is a Hong Kong-based financial trading solution provider principally engaged in the development and provision of financial trading solutions. Our customers are mainly financial institutions, including brokerage firms and wealth management companies, and located mainly in Asia Pacific region, such as Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia and Japan, as well as Cyprus. We primarily focus on financial trading solutions targeting the trading of OTC-traded financial instruments, stock exchange-traded financial instruments and fund management for wealth management companies. GES also focus on the break-through research by combing the Constraint Programming techniques and extend it with Local Search and Operation Research techniques to tackle real-life hardest instance found in scheduling and resource allocation. Combined with GES Foundation Layer, this solution has been adopted to solve large scale timetabling problem with over 10,000 students found in Hong Kong. Since 2017, GES has become a long-term contractor of Standing Offer Agreement for Quality Professional Services (SOA-QPS) to provide IT professional services to Government departments of Hong Kong. We are currently under the SOA-QPS5 contract which takes effect from 31 January 2022 for 48 months. Under the SOA-QPS5, GES can provide the government with all categories of IT professional services, namely - Category A: Pre-implementation, Programme/Project Management Services, On-going Services, Implementation & Combined System Development Services (Major Group); Category B: Information Security, Privacy Assessment and Independent Testing Services; Category C: Deployment and Maintenance of Common Services (Minor Group).
